Project description
I collaborated with Twitch Primes's business and visual design teams to create a multi-site subscription model, offering Nintendo Switch Online for free with a Twitch Prime membership. This initiative aimed to increase Twitch Prime's value perception and drive engagement through a high-profile partnership.

Process & Solution
Taking Ownership
I led the evaluation of existing customer experiences (CX) to determine how Twitch Prime's current technology could support a subscription program instead of in-game loot.
Obsessing Over Customers
I partnered with developers and PMs to simplify the entitlement process, reducing friction for users and enabling faster access to the offer.
Thinking Big
I proposed and implemented a streamlined login solution, removing the need for a Twitch login to claim the offer and making the process more user-friendly.
Insisting on the Highest Standards
I identified ways the team could enhance the CX, ensuring the design was consistent with Twitch Prime’s branding and accessible across platforms.
Results & Learnings
Increased Press Coverage
Achieved significant positive press coverage, with 39 major outlets—including TechCrunch, The Verge, and Mashable—highlighting the value of the offer.
Elevated the Twitch Prime Brand
The partnership elevated the perceived value of Twitch Prime, with one outlet stating, “Twitch Prime is working to be the best deal in gaming.”
Lessons in Alignment and Collaboration
Learned the importance of aligning CX improvements with technical feasibility, tight timelines, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve impactful results.
