Challenge

My goal for this project was to utilize the prototyping software Axure in order to prove it as successful tool for the Production Team. To do so, I designed a new interaction model for the track select functionality.

Solution

The design process included research, heuristic evaluation, sketches, flowcharts, low-fidelity wireframes, and concluded with a low-fidelity prototype.

Result

I discovered that a successful interaction model needs to balance time (clicks) and information (number of assets shown at a time) to create a great user experience. Combining the environment and track select screens into one reduced both the time to select and the cognitive load. I used Axure to create a low-fidelity prototype for my solution to prove it as a useful tool for UX designers.
