Project description
I led the UX design efforts for Prime Gaming's Developer (Dev) Portal, a SaaS B2B campaign management tool for third-party game developers (3Ps). The Developer Portal replaced manual, error-prone processes involving spreadsheets and email, enabling 3Ps to easily determine campaign requirements and upload promotional assets. Developer Portal also enabled Prime Gaming's Technical Account Managers (TAMs) to directly create and manage campaigns without developer assistance.

Process & Solution
User-Centered Research
Collaborated with Product Management (PM) to interview both 3Ps and TAMs, gaining a deep understanding of their workflows, pain points, and needs.
Journey Mapping & Prioritization
Designed user journeys to illustrate how consecutive versions of Dev Portal would improve the user experience, and partnered with PM to prioritize user stories for development.
Iterative Design Approach
Delivered low-fidelity mockups and iterated on designs based on stakeholder feedback, leading the team through the development of both the MVP and V1 launches.
Framework Utilization
Leveraged an internal front-end framework to expedite development, creating redlines and detailed specifications for the engineering team.
Forward-Thinking Enhancements
Began designing V2 features, including direct feedback mechanisms for TAMs, built-in review cycles, and improved collaboration tools for 3Ps, TAMs, and QA teams.
Results & Learnings
Improved Developer Satisfaction
Increased developer satisfaction by 31% and eliminated the reliance on spreadsheets, addressing a major pain point for 3Ps.
Enhanced Efficiency
Saved TAMs 400 person-hours over three months across 43 campaigns by streamlining campaign creation and onboarding processes.
Reduced Onboarding Complexity
Reduced required onboarding documentation by 48% and provided more responsive asset validation, making it easier for 3Ps to meet campaign requirements.
